BI Developer & Consultant

My role at the DB Best company is centered around the Microsoft BI suite; specifically, Power BI! I am titled a BI developer & consultant. My skills are high in Power BI service administration, premium capacity optimization, visualizing data, and BI automating of processes.

Working at DB Best allows for me to experience ways in which customers are governing their Power BI tenants; I am then able to recommend best practices and assist in creating a better performing environment.

Power BI became a part of my life mid 2015; when the application was still in its BETA release. I was still a student in college, using Power BI during analytical internships as “busy work”. My tasks were mostly to convert SSRS reports into fully functional Power BI reports for some proof of concepts.

There were little resources on Power BI in 2015, but I managed to convert the reports and fall in love with a new tool.

Today, I am well versed in the administration and governance of the Microsoft BI suite; using it to automate data availability.
